Privacy Policy
How we handle your details, in plain language.
Last updated: 28 October 2026
This policy explains what we do with your information when you use citydesires.co.in. Please read it before you send us an enquiry. We have written it in plain language on purpose.
Who are we?
We are City Desires, operating the website citydesires.co.in from Andheri, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400053.
Wherever this policy says “we”, “us” or “our”, it means City Desires.
What information do we collect?
Two kinds — what you give us yourself, and what the website records automatically.
What you give us
Our enquiry form asks for four things:
- Your name — required
- Your email address — required
- Your phone number — required
- Your message — optional, and only what you choose to type
If you contact us on WhatsApp instead of the form, we receive your WhatsApp number, your display name, and whatever you send us. That conversation sits in WhatsApp, which is run by Meta under its own privacy terms, not ours.
What is recorded automatically
- Your IP address
- Your browser and device type
- Which pages you opened, and how long you stayed
- Date and time of your visit
- The page or search that sent you here
Why do we collect each of these?
Each item has one purpose, and we do not use it for anything else.
- Name — so we know how to address you when we reply.
- Phone number — so we can respond. For most enquiries this is the only way we reply.
- Email address — as a second way to reach you if the phone number does not connect.
- Message — so we understand what you are asking about.
- IP address and logs — for security, and to spot misuse of the website.
- Pages visited — to understand which pages people find useful, so we can improve them.
We do not use your details for marketing. We do not sell them. We do not add you to any mailing list.
Does this website take payments?
No. There is no payment facility on this website at all — no card form, no payment gateway, no UPI collection page. We never ask for your card details, UPI PIN, OTP or bank details through this website.
Please treat this as a fraud warning. If anyone asks you to send an advance or token amount by UPI claiming to be from City Desires, do not pay. Keep the UTR and the number that contacted you, and report it to us at report@citydesires.co.in. Nobody genuine from our side will ask you for an OTP.
Who do we share your information with?
Your enquiry details — your name, phone number, email and message — are seen only by us. We do not pass them to anybody else, we do not sell them, and we do not share them with advertisers or other parties.
There are two honest exceptions you should know about:
- Google. Because Google Tag Manager runs on this site, Google receives website usage data such as your IP address and the pages you opened. This is handled under Google’s own privacy policy. It does not include your enquiry form details.
- If the law requires it. If a court, the police or another lawful authority formally directs us to hand over information, we have to comply.
Our website hosting is provided by Hostinger, whose servers store the site and its records.
How long do we keep your information?
We keep enquiry details for one month from the date you contact us, and then delete them.
Two things sit outside that one month, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise:
- WhatsApp conversations remain in WhatsApp until deleted from the device.
- Website usage data collected through Google Analytics is held by Google on its own servers, and Google decides how long it keeps that under its retention settings. This is visitor numbers and page views — not your enquiry details.
What are your rights?
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you may ask us to:
- See what information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong or out of date
- Delete your information — and we will, unless a law requires us to keep it
- Withdraw consent you gave earlier
- Nominate somebody to exercise these rights if you die or become unable to act
Write to report@citydesires.co.in. We will reply within one week. There is no charge for any of this.
How do you raise a complaint?
Write to our Grievance Officer. Every complaint reaches a named person, not a general inbox.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
How safe is your information with us?
We will be straight with you rather than make promises we cannot keep.
The website uses an SSL certificate, so what you type into the form is encrypted while it travels to us. Access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it to reply to you. We delete enquiry details after one month, which means there is less sitting around to go wrong.
But no website anywhere is completely secure, and anybody who tells you otherwise is overselling. Please do not send us identity documents, financial details, or anything you would not want read by somebody else. We do not need them and we do not ask for them.
Is this website for adults only?
Yes. This website is strictly for people aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from anybody under 18.
If you believe a person under 18 has contacted us or appears anywhere on this website, write immediately to report@citydesires.co.in and we will act on it as a priority.
Will this policy change?
It may. If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the “last updated” date at the top.
If the change is a significant one, we will say so clearly on the page rather than quietly editing it. Please check this page from time to time.
How do you contact us?
One address covers everything — support, privacy questions, data requests, grievances and reporting a concern. You do not have to work out which inbox to use.
